Marlin is a retired United States Marine with extensive experience in marksmanship, combat martial arts, range safety, and instructor-level training. He qualified on the rifle range more than 100 times, served as a Range Safety Officer, and trained in the aerial observer pipeline for the CH-53E, gaining firsthand experience in high-risk, precision-driven environments.
With nearly a decade of combat defense instruction, he is also a Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor, MCJROTC high school instructor, certified basic archery instructor, and certified firearms instructor.
